Tuition and Fees

Due at Time of Registration

All tuition and fees are due at the time of registration, unless you are enrolled in UMUC’s interest-free monthly payment plan or you are receiving financial aid or employer-provided tuition assistance.

If you register by

Payment must accompany your registration

Payment is due with registration or must be submitted by mail the day of registration

If payment for registration via MyUMUC is not received by the due date, your registration may be canceled (unless you are receiving financial aid or employer-proved tuition assistance or have enrolled in the monthly payment pl an). Note: Not paying for a course does not relieve you of your financial obligation to the university.

Mandatory Technology Fee

A technology fee per unit of credit must be paid at the time of registration. The fee is capped at $312 per year (which runs summer/fall/spring).

Available Methods of Payment

Payment may be made by cash (at Largo only), check, money order, MasterCard, or Visa. Checks should be payable to University of Maryland University College. Credit card payments are subject to credit approval immediately after registration. Registrat ion payments—whether made by cash, check, money order, or credit card—are final and may not be replaced by any type of tuition assistance. The tuition and fees listed are those in effect at the time of publication, but are subject to change.
